NEW STUFF

SOLD OUT - MISANTHROPIC CHARITY "S/T"  £7.00 plus post - In spring of 1988 I heard the three songs on this demo for the first time. It was some of the most amazing music I had heard until then. 3 songs from these fine Danish folks, ex members of Electric Deads and Enola Gay, amongst others. Melodic, powerful, intense Punk Rock with female vocals. Their best material ever. The LP was good, but these three songs are another league. Completely

BARBIE ARMY "Barbies Don't Bleed" (retrospective 1986 - 1990) LP+7"   £23.00 - In 1986, Barbie Army took their first steps on the Chicago underground scene. An all-girl band, Barbie Army was a wild, loud, and defiant bunch of virgins who showcased their skills in both DIY punk hangouts and the Chicago blues scene. Introduced in 1987's Maximumrocknroll, Barbie Army knew how to blend influences from female doo-wop bands to punk 'n' roll bands like X to punk bands with a pop sensibility like the Fastbacks, and she made this one own style. 19 songs that obviously don't fit on an LP are their entire discography. There is also an 8-page booklet and an additional 7" with its own cover.

SOLD OUT - UPSIDE "S/T" LP 1981 demo   £15.00 plus post - Upside is a legendary hardcore/punk band from Sassuolo near Modena that started in early 80s and is still performing to this day. They were part of the scene that gave us bands like Stigmathe, No Jap, Hydra, Dioxina, Cani, Raw Power, Nabat, Mitropank, Stalag 17, RAF Punk,… In 1983 they debuted on vinyl with Nati Per Soffrire 7? but even before that they recorded the first demo tape with great songs that never came out elsewhere: Anarchia Unica Via, Marionette, Milioni Di Morti, Smog, Italia Brava Gente, Spacciatori, Sotto Shock, Mondo Irreale,…
Political punk verging on hardcore tinged with dark overtones, both musically and lyrically. Very critical, almost apocalyptic lyrics about the society. Their music influences seem to merge early UK 82 stuff with Italian HC/Punk of the time as well as 80s Finnish HC, although not as fast as most of their Scandinavian counterparts. If you liked the recent Link Lärm LP on No Plan records, this could be something for you as well.
This LP gathers 10 songs (plus a hidden track) from the demo, remastered, for the first time on vinyl. Comes with a foldout 12? insert with band photos, lyrics, flyers and band´s history in a deluxe 350 gr laminated cover printed on both sides..

Black Easter "Ready To Rot" 7" £7.00 -  Black Easter formed in 1982 in Farnborough, Hampshire, they released a couple of demos and a live cassette and supported a few name bands (Subhumans, Flux Of Pink Indians to name a couple) but they didn't cause too many ripples in the punk rock pond. They did however find their way onto the excellent Killed By Death #5 compilation and it's that song I'm posting today. It was originally on their Ready To Rot ep, which saw the light of day in 1982.

DECRY 7" - version on Blue vinyl   £8.00
