HAPEA "Ei sota yhtä miestä kaipaa"

First 7" full of pissed off hardcore punk from Finland. Originally released in 2016.

Maximum Rocknroll #412:
"Holy shit. Off the motherfucking rails hardcore punk rock from Finland. Relentless. Fierce as fukk. Drums that do not stop for anything and a brutalized guitar full of piss and hiss struggling to keep up with the punishment being inflicted upon it. This thing is fuckkn intense and extremely good. Highest recommendation."

Razorcake #100:
"Finnish hardcore that comes in and just pummels the shit out of everything in the room. They deliver in the region's "classic" mode, so folks fond of Tampere SS, Terveet Kädet, Rattus, and like are gonna love this" - Jimmy Alvarado

Toinen vaihtoehto #257:
"Aina kun listaan tämän hetken parhaita kotimaisia hardcorepunk-bändejä, tulee Häpeä mieleen ihan ensimmäisten nimien joukossa. Silti Häpeä on edelleen suorastaan rikollisen aliarvostetun...  more

SODOM ソドム "St. Requiem" Gatefold LP + 7" (F.O.A.D. 150)

SODOM ソドム "St. Requiem" Gatefold LP + 7" (F.O.A.D. 150)

A treasure of Japanese Hardcore/Punk finally seeing the light on vinyl in a deluxe version authorized by the band and all mastered and assembled in a process of years under supervision of the singer Zazie. This collection includes the cult “St. Requiem” tape-album (1984) + a bonus 7″EP with the “ADK Omnibus” tracks (1983) cut at 45rpm for the best sounding sonic impact. 25 songs in total.  “St. Requiem” stands with no doubt as one of the best Japanese Hardcore tapes released in the ’80s, it combines rapid fast Hardcore bursts with some dark, claustrophobic atmospheres that were characterizing the sound of several bands released by the legendary ADK Records label. And talking of the pioneering status of this great band (that moved to a different musical direction in the years to follow), the singer Zazie was part of a very early stage of GAUZE‘s line-up in the passage from Typhus to Gauze in fall 1981.  Housed in a silver laminated gatefold sleeve with a fanzine styled booklet full of rare flyers, photos and original artworks.

EIEFITS "Mezame" LP (F.O.A.D. 155)

EIEFITS "Mezame" LP (F.O.A.D. 155)

new album of the Tokyo-based all star band EIEFITS, released in collaboration with Mangrove Records that just put out the CD version. EIEFITS “Mezame” is an adrenalinic explosion of powerful female fronted Punk/HC, showcasing a relatively new band delivering great music with the same power and energy of countless Japanese legends that have amazed us through the past 3 decades!

Energetic and loud female fronted Punk from Tokyo at times speeding up to Hardcore territories that recall classic 80’s bands like The COMES and GAS. As a matter of fact this band includes a spectacular parade of ex members from cult acts such as THE HECK, COLORED RICEMEN, FORWARD, KGS, LIP CREAM, THE COMES, EXTINCT GOVERNMENT, plus the current drummer of THE SLOWMOTIONS. Prepare for a sharp Punk attack of piercing female vocals over sturdy riff laden momentum built by pounding drums, thunderous bass and tough guitar riffs.  Their third full length album including 15 songs that simply rip!! Lyrics sheet included.

VULGARITY KIDS "No one / Bloody splatter" LP (F.O.A.D. 152)

VULGARITY KIDS "No one / Bloody splatter" LP (F.O.A.D. 152)

Furious Japanese Hardcore founded in Utsunomiya City in 1985! Brand new LP including their “No one” studio session 2017 and the lost & found “Bloody splatter” demo 1989!! As mentioned on the previous VULGARITY KIDS LP also released by F.O.A.D. Records, it was believed that the “Bloody Splatter” demo was completely lost and there were no chances to find it, not even through the circles of the most diehard Japanese tape collectors. After their 30th year reunion gig at Bar El Puente in Yokohama, a friend of the band got in touch and told us that she had found a copy of it. So what you have here is an incredible rarity, a lost and found recording of raging fast Japanese Hardcore/Thrash recorded 3 decades ago + brand new songs that will equally rip your brains off. 12 songs. Lyrics sheet included.

Diehard coke bottle green vinyl with bloody red splattering ltd to 100 copies

Black vinyl ltd to 200 copies

Fear b/w Doubt by Jellicoe & Woodbury in stock soon

Fear b/w Doubt  by Jellicoe & Woodbury

These back to back belters reference the style of hardcore punk that calls out in bloody protest, harkening Insane Youth’s ‘Not Give a Damn’ and Anti-Cimex’s ‘Scandinavian Jawbreaker’. The dogs snarl without mercy or respite offering soaring solos, a bleak outlook, a big bass tone and pummelling drums. Over exhilarating guitar density and hoarse bark, Jellicoe and Woodbury chase, dismantle, and advocate obliteration of mankind.
Jellicoe and Woodbury are the twin dogs of Doubt and Fear, a poetic interpretation of James Joyce’s 'Ulysses', where dogs seemingly are ready to attack at any moment, based on Joyce’s well known fear of dogs. Doubt and Fear channel 'Ulysses' through a Bastard ‘Wind of Pain’ like lens. These self-created monsters use capitalism to keep us afraid to really move forward in life, and scared to connect with each other. They chase us back and 'breath down our neck’.
Recorded in Toronto by some weathered but familiar statues in the Toronto punk community. To compliment the style, as well as the in depth and swirling world of these characters, legendary Japanese hardcore punk artist Sugi has manifested these two dramatic tracks for the front cover of the record.

FREDAG DEN 13 EN "Dystopisk Utsikt"

FREDAG DEN 13 EN "Dystopisk Utsikt" contains 11 fierce tracks in the same style as their previous albums – the mix of riffs hailing from the last 30 years of rock music. In the opening track “Plågad Av Ljuset” you will hear fragments of the Gothenburg death sound made famous by At The Gates, followed by raging d-beat in ’1984′. The rock ‘n roll-feel of Poison Idea hits the listener in “Av Skuld Och Skam” and the HC-breakdowns are lined up in “Dödad Av Tid.” You will also hear fragments of Scandinavian black metal in riffs like “Orsak Föder Orsak.” Lead singer G explains the idea behind the lyrics on the album: “The lyrics are not thematic like on their last album Domedagar where the leitmotif was the end of the world, but on Dystopisk Utsikt (which means ‘Dystopian View’) most of the lyrics involves the disgust towards religion, fascism and oppression that have risen all over the world during 16/17. Songs like “Fängslad Mentalt,” which translates as ‘Mentally Imprisoned,’ is about the constant fears living as a refugee, and “Är Du Hora Eller Gud?” (‘Are You A Whore Or God?) is about the sexual harassment that was made public by the #metoo movement.” £12.00 (limited Gold Vinyl edition)
