Compilation on Unrest Records. Contains the Beginning of the End 7" and an unreleased demo from '78. £10.00

Varukers 7 inches in stock Now (£5.00 plus post)

THE VARUKERS "No Hope Of A Future"
Originally released in 1984 on Pogar, this 7” features the Varukers developing into a tight and powerful hardcore machine. The punk bounce has given way to a heavier more proto crust hardcore sound. Lean and powerful, this record has the same raw production and urgency as the first two eps.

THE VARUKERS "Massacred Millions"
Originally released as a 12” ep in 1983, this is raw and savage hardcore in the Discharge tradition. From the alienation and misery of Thatcher’s Britain came the revolt of punk against the establishment, society, and the weak posing of the sold out remnants of first wave of punk. Taking punk to it’s most logical extreme, Varukers channeled the angst of the era into these four tracks of hardcore power.

THE VARUKERS "Die For Your Government"
The Varukers third 7” from 1983 originally released on Riot City.  The production progresses from the raw production of the first two eps.  Two sides of huge crushing riffs, the best of catchy punk and  raw hardcore power in an intoxicating mix.

THE VARUKERS "Protest And Survive" EP
Originally released in 1981, this 7” is like a blast of pure power from the early days of hardcore punk. Varukers was one of the first bands to take up the gauntlet laid down by Discharge to combine the rebel attitude of punk with the pure energy of hardcore. This four song banger bursts with raw energy and anger, the recording is raw and urgent, three tracks are primal raw D Beat, while Soldier Boy is a more pogo punk UK82 anthem, well known for it’s inclusion on the Punk and Disorderly compilation.

THE VARUKERS "I Don't Wanna Be A Victim!"
This is the second ep from the Varukers, originally released in 1982. Varukers seamlessly blend the styles we now call D Beat and UK82. This 7” features three of the more traditionally punk influenced mid paced sing along ragers, picking up towards the end with the more hard edged “No Masters, No Slaves”

THE VARUKERS "Led To The Slaughter"
Originally released in 1984 on Riot City, three tracks of unrelenting hardcore punk moving more towards the sounds of the Another Religion Another War era. Like Discharge, the Varukers pushed to a harder more powerful sound with more leads and guitar wails, but always staying firmly rooted in the world of punk rock and not veering as far into the territory of metal. Huge riffs, raw beats, pure rage.

DROPDEAD IN SOON

OUT OF STOCK - DROPDEAD - 2020 LP

Their long awaited third album, recorded by Kurt Ballou and Zach Weeks at God City and mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege. Musically, the third Dropdead album is a bit different from previous recordings, style-wise and vocally, with the latter being delivered so the words have an impact more so than just raw screaming. With 23 songs in 24 minutes, the songs themselves vary much more in tempo and style, but ultimately, it's a Dropdead record that makes sense in 2020. Lyrically, this record is relevant to the times we live in, focused on the alarming state of the world, the disturbing rise of right-wing extremism, animal abuse, and the continued social failures of humankind. "These are dark times we find ourselves living in," says the band, "and this is how we vent our frustration and anger in a positive way."

DROPDEAD - DROPDEAD 1998 (REMASTERED) LP

Completely remixed by Kurt Ballou in June 2020 and mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege. This record has never sounded better with this fresh audio, clearing up the muddy sound of the original tremendously. This pressing now cut to play as a normal outside to inside record, unlike the original pressings. The second album of sonic-grind, total obliti-core from Rhode Island's deafening devastators. Eighteen angry hardcore/thrash songs. 18 songs in a decidedly more Swedish HC vein, but with the usual odd breaks and fast parts throughout. More melodic than the first LP in some ways, and noisier in others.

DROPDEAD - DROPDEAD 1993 (REMASTERED) LP

The original 1993 Don Fury mix, remastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege. The terrorizing blistercore classic from '93 reissued and sounding as putrid as the day it was killed. Thirty-four songs of pulverizing political hate, social disgust and personal loathing. Originally released in 1993 on Selfless Recs, this 34 song album has been re-released with restored & updated artwork. Influenced by the old Japanese, European, and some US hardcore. An extreme mix of fast and mid-paced parts with angry vocals and personal/political lyrics.

DROPDEAD - Discography vol. 2 1995 - 2013 (REMASTERED) LP

Discography Volume 2 compiles 42 tracks and spans the years 1995-2013. This includes Hostile EP, and splits with Unholy Grave, Totalitar, Look Back And Laugh, Converge, Systematic Death, Ruidosa Inmundicia, and Brainoil as well as compilation tracks and the Arms Race EP.

OUT OF STOCK - DROPDEAD - Discography vol. 1 1992 - 1993 (REMASTERED) LP

Completely remixed by Kurt Ballou and mastered at New Alliance. Includes 3 new bonus tracks found on the original reels. Comprised of material recorded between 1991 and 1993, consisting of 42 songs from their self-titled 7", split 7" & 5" with Rupture and Crossed Out, and compilation tracks. Reissued with restored & updated artwork. Originally released in 1994 as an 11” LP on Clearview, and regular LP on Flat Earth in the UK in 1995. Originally a 39 track compilation, three additional tracks that were unearthed on the original reels have been added to this new version. The complete early studio tracks on one release.

NEW STOCK ON THE WAY

NEKRA "Royal Disruptor" 7 inch  £5.00 plus post
Nekra’s ripping and long awaited follow up to their demo blisters and pummels through five tracks of punishing punk. Tight tempo changes bracket blasted, buzzing guitars, rumbling bass, reckless drumming, and powerful vocals. Five tracks and no mercy! – Jonah Falco

KOHTI TUHOA "S/T" MLP  £10.00 plus post
KOHTI TUHOA’s self titled debut EP is finally available on vinyl again! The earlier 7” pressings sold out long ago and are getting harder to find, so it’s time for this record to get the well-deserved LVEUM treatment. Unsatisfied with the original release, the band decided to remaster the record from the original analog tapes and rework the layout for best possible results. The LVEUM pressing will be cut on a 45rpm 12″ and includes the complete 7-track session with the bonus track “Velkaa maksat kuitenkin”, which was left out of the original pressing since the session was too long for a 7”. This is KOHTI TUHOA in their early days: raw, noisy, fast and slightly more metallic, like a mix of Behind the Realms of Madness -era SACRILEGE, FRAMTID and classic Finnish hardcore.

DISCLOSE "Yesterday’s Fairytale, Tomorrow’s Nightmare" LP  £10.00 plus post
180 Gram record housed in a paste on board sleeve. Layer upon layer of noise and distortion, like ashes of nuclear apocalypse raining down. The final LP Disclose released, in 2004, captured the band at a high point. When other d-beat raw punk bands were running low on ideas, Kawakami reinvented the sound, incorporating more metallic influences like Broken Bones while still sticking assiduously close to the template. Originally released for Disclose’s tour of the US west coast, ‘Yesterday’s Fairytale, Tomorrow’s Nightmare’ includes ten tracks and closes with a rampaging masterpiece, the 10-minute ‘Wardead,’ which exists on another astral plane from generic Discharge copyists. This authorized reissue reproduces the original artwork and includes a new insert with liner notes by Stuart Schrader.

DISCLOSE "Nightmare Or Reality" MLP £11.00
20 years ago DISCLOSE released their response to the greatest hardcore 12” ever released: DISCHARGE’s Why. At the time the band was at the peak of their DISCHARGE era and had perfectly crafted a trademark sound, which shows through on the recording. The chainsaw-sounding double-toned guitar, Kawakami’s unmistakable vocals, and a rhythm section firmly based on the Stoke-On-Trent’s beat melded together to create a repetitive mantra-like noise chant. Recorded at Grove Cargo and mastered at Studio D-Takt by Jan Jutila, the production is a perfect example of noise not music pressed into vinyl, with both high and low frequencies cutting through the mix without losing any power. Lyrically Nightmare Or Reality focuses on the tragic sights of bullshit fucking war while aurally the record is a full-blown attack on all senses. D-Beat Raw Punk at its best. 20 years on and many times imitated but never duplicated.
