NERVOUS SS / RAT CAGE "Skopje Vs Sheffield" LP In Stock Soon

OUT OF STOCK - NERVOUS SS / RAT CAGE  "Skopje Vs Sheffield" LP

It’s a stark and baron land out there right now. What we all need is some fucking loud, fast, uncompromising raw punk to drown out the constant bullshit being broadcasted as 2021 develops.

Both following up storming debut LP’s with five new tracks plus a local cover each, Nervous SS and Rat Cage clash head to head on this 12 song barrage of hell for leather punk rock.

The Nervous SS side (Skopje) undoubtedly wears a Totalitär influence on its sleeve, but combine that sweet sound with a complete powerhouse vocal bombardment that sets Nervous SS a cut above the rest. Flip to the Rat Cage side (Sheffield) for a rapid attack of Scandi riffs with the relentless urgency we’ve grown to know and love from the band. The side ends with a U.K. Subs cover, clearly displaying Rat Cage’s classic British Punk influence.

With Master dials set firmly to ‘destroy mode’, this record will be your saviour in these dark times. Crank it.

NEW STOCK AND RE-STOCKS

DISCLOSE "Tragedy" LP £12.00

180 Gram record housed in a paste on board sleeve. Indiscriminate cruelty to common people: the slogan could be about war or it could be about your eardrums while listening to ‘Tragedy.’ Disclose’s first LP is a landmark of cacophonous, guitar-forward noisy hardcore. Heavily influenced by classic 80s Swedish raw punk, these fifteen songs perfect the unrelenting formula as only Kawakami could. Originally released in Japan on the cult label Overthrow in 1994, this reissue restores the fierce original mix two decades later. It differs from the mix on later represses hailing from Uppsala, where Swedish bombshelter-dwellers keep the flame alive. This authorized reissue reproduces the original artwork, with insert. Crack your brain up!

THE PARTISANS "Anarchy In Alkatraz / No Future Demos 1980 - 1982" LP  £15.00

19 track round up of demos from The Partisans who formed in Bridgend, South Wales in 1978 and ended up being one of the cream of the UK82 punk movement. The first side of the LP has 10 tracks recorded in April 1980 in one day and like bands in their early years – it features mainly covers. It includes songs from the Sex Pistols, Stiff Little Fingers, UK Subs, Buzzcocks, UK Subs, Cockney Rejects and yes even more UK Subs. It also has primitive and raw versions of future Partisans classics No Time and I Don’t Give a Fuck. This demo has never been heard or released in any form. Less than a year later, February 1981 with Savage leaving and Louise joining on bass, the band have their most well know line up and are in full flow with a 6 track demo that was sent to No Future Records. It’s not surprising the label snapped them up straight away as the recordings are high energy and full of anthemic gems. The label released Police Story and Killing Machine as the debut 7” direct from these recordings. The other four tracks from this demo have never been released on vinyl. The last three tracks on the LP are the demos from 1982 recorded for No Future for the 17 Years of Hell Single. Rawer and more punk than the actual well know versions. All members of the bands helped in this release and shared original masters from which everything was remastered plus archive from their own personal collections including photos galore, handouts, ticket stubs, interviews etc which are included in the 28 Page Booklet.

THE CHISEL Come See Me/ Not The Only One EP 7" £5.00

Chisel this, Chisel that” — it’s on my phone, it’s on my hard drives, it’s on my turntable, it’s on my t-shirt, it’s on my Instagram, it’s on my blogspot, it’s tattooed on my forehead, my own parents renewed their wedding vows to “Rat Running Scared.” I pressed stop. I unplugged my headphones, turned down the volume, and snapped that god forsaken single in HALF. Enough was enough! But see me, yeah. Once the music stopped only one thought rang through my head: What Have I Done? Where once there was explosive energy there was now a void. Lucky for me, the 5 loveable lads from Blackpool, Croydon, Acton, Chingford, and Guildford KEPT IT MOVIN, and just when I thought all was lost they brought me back in. Three more blasts of full fat extra saturated deep fried limb swinging confrontational uplifting chisel chiselling punk for that special space in your life. Enough said? No. Cos they’ve done it again. (Jonah Falco)

DISCLOSE "Nightmare Or Reality" MLP  £12.00

20 years ago DISCLOSE released their response to the greatest hardcore 12” ever released: DISCHARGE’s Why. At the time the band was at the peak of their DISCHARGE era and had perfectly crafted a trademark sound, which shows through on the recording. The chainsaw-sounding double-toned guitar, Kawakami’s unmistakable vocals, and a rhythm section firmly based on the Stoke-On-Trent’s beat melded together to create a repetitive mantra-like noise chant. Recorded at Grove Cargo and mastered at Studio D-Takt by Jan Jutila, the production is a perfect example of noise not music pressed into vinyl, with both high and low frequencies cutting through the mix without losing any power. Lyrically Nightmare Or Reality focuses on the tragic sights of bullshit fucking war while aurally the record is a full-blown attack on all senses. D-Beat Raw Punk at its best. 20 years on and many times imitated but never duplicated.Originally released by MCR Company, this 20 year anniversary official reissue comes in a printed inner sleeve and heavy board outer sleeve.
