VILE SPIRIT "Scorched Earth" LP
Scorched Earth marks the long awaited debut LP from the UK’s ultimate misfit squad, Vile Spirit. After well loved demo and promo tapes, Scorched Earth marks a major step up in terms of musical landscape and craft as members have sharpened their teeth touring Europe and being active members of the UK hardcore punk scene. Somehow they have managed to sew together influences such as United Mutation, Integrity and Black Metal into a noisy mass of hard as hell tunes with fuzzed out guitars burning your ear drums whilst being punched to death by relentlessly rolling drums excelling at unpredictable rhythmical directions. Meanwhile mid-tempo songs like Going Home march along, snarling in the darkness, creating an atmospheric backdrop for those who prefer to awaken at night. Vocalist Ben summons a cynical view of the world, conjuring tales of the survival of mankind and a contempt for the world.
Bursting onto the UK hardcore punk scene three years ago the members have never ceased to play in and create numerous bands such as Gutter Knife, Saliva, and Chubby and the Gang. They originally formed part of the new generation of Brighton punks re-energising the scene there alongside bands like State Funeral, Never and label mates Imposter, whilst members finished high school or started University. Joining the band on second guitar is Rory O’Neill, singer of Imposter, and responsible for the artwork on Scorched Earth.

Consisting of current and former members of Neurosis, Dystopia, and Operation Ivy, and fronted by Pete the Roadie, renowned road dog and U.K. transplant, Kicker is a band with international pedigree carrying the attitudinal torch of punk rock invented by Crass in the 70s that continued through the 80s hardcore scene on labels such as Dischord and SST.
Over the course of its eleven tracks, which clock in at just 26 minutes, Pure Drivel is pure surly disposition, thick with heavily distorted guitar and lively basswork. Pete the Roadie’s presence as a front man is commanding if not polished, as he barks out lyrics much like a drunk shouting down fellow patrons at a smoky English pub.
CLITERATI "Ugly Truths / Beautiful Lies" £11.00
Right from the start of the album, the band waste no time in tackling a myriad of hot button issues such as trans rights, immigration policy, foreign policy, and the state of domestic politics. Naturally given the nature of the subject matter and the extent of which these issues divide, this is very much an album that will split opinions purely based on the which way the listener leans politically – in a sense mirroring the socio-political climate we find ourselves in today. If you consider yourself liberal, this is for you, and if you don’t, hopefully the album will give you a fresh perspective and challenge your ideals.

The Mannheim five piece produce that crust metal sound with the aplomb of scene veterans. Guitars ripping between jangling d-beat riffing, trem picked almost black metal-ish speed sections and the melodic leads that give Crust that truly epic punk feel.
Vocals are the bellowed hoarse throat tearers classic to the style, lent an edge by an extremely clean production and a delivery any wearer of a dred mullet would be proud of.
The drums are intense, again with very polished production nothing is lost from the performance here, pummeling D-beats with some excellent cymbal play swapping to micro-blasting sections through rolling tom fills.
HELLKNIFE capture that epic stadium crust feel perfectly, while incorporating some unique elements, songs like ‘Burn It Down’ feature a strong bluesy crust’n’roll undertone which keeps the listeners attention.
Where some might tire of a surging tide of D-beat for 30 minutes HELLKNIFE do exactly what is needed to please both purists of the genre and keep the more casual fan entertained throughout.

"Millions of dead cops" is the most legendary, important, genre-defining and ground breaking album by American hardcore punk pioneers MDC with Dave Dictor. Originally released on R Radical Records in 1982 and re-released worldwide in dozens of versions and formats. In 2003 the record was re-released for the first time as a picture-disc on Twisted Chords. Now the licenses are back and “Millions of dead cops” is again available as a picture-lp. In the original artwork and mastering with additional inlayfolder, downloadcode and sticker. Dave Dictor is still active and tours with MDC nowadays being still one of the most notable and dedicated political voices of US punk.

Oigenz "Neues Jahrhundert altes Problem" LP £10.00
Re-release of the legendary debut-album of the antifascist Oi!-Punk-band Oigenz. Found in the late 1990s in the area around Stuttgart, in 2000 the band released this debut-album on their own label in a small printing. The LP was sold out in weeks and never got repressed. The band found the "Antifascist rock action Stuttgart" and played their final gig on an early AFRA-festival in 2001. Oigenz played fast, uncompromising and rough melodic Oi!, punkrock and streetpunk with catchy songs, great choruses and youthful charm. "Neues Jahrhundert" includes 11 own songs and the Violadores cover "Uno, Dos, Ultraviolento". After splitting up some of the band-members founded the band Guerilla, which released four albums and got really popular for their straight forward and radical shows. "Neues Jahrhundert" was recorded in the studio of Wally Walldorf from German punk legend Toxoplasma and comes with a thick 350g cover, complete new artwork, innersleeve and downloadcode

One of the best and most popular German punk bands with a reissue of their all-time-classic-album “Gebt der Meute was sie braucht”. For the first time in more than a decade back on vinyl with the "4 Track EP" from 1988 as a bonus-7". Founded in 1978, Hass was one of the most important and influential Deutschpunk-bands. Together with Slime and Toxoplasma they were the style icons for a whole genre, their debut-album “Hass allein genügt nicht mehr” is a legendary album in German punk history. “Gebt der Meute was sie braucht” was the third album, originally released in 1990 on the band`s own label Hass Produktionen and was sold out on vinyl for more than 10 years. With this album Hass made a stand against the nationalism in Germany after the German reunification, against nazis, hooligans and the whole establishment. Great punkrock-songs with a exceptionally voice and sing-a-long choruses. Authentic, direct, with a lot of anger and rage and much more punkrock than the later releases of the band. “Gebt der Meute was sie braucht” has hits like "Keine Chance", "Wie Alkohol" und “Lizenz zum Töten” and is a good reasons why Hass were such a classic band. The re-release is limited to 1000 copies and comes in a wonderful gatefold-cover with all lyrics, including the complete “Gebt der Meute was sie braucht”-LP (14 songs, 1990) and the “4-Track-EP” as a bonus-7” (4 songs, 1988).

Reissue of this legendary German punk classic from 1982. First and only LP of Sluts from Braunschweig, originally released on Aggressive Rockproduktionen, repressed 1990 via Blasting Youth Records and sold out since the early 90s. Additional for the first time ever on CD. Sluts were part of the first wave of German punk bands, some of the members started 1979 as "Bombed Bodies". In 1980 there was a lineup change and thenceforth they performed as Sluts. After recording some songs for the "Soundtracks zum Untergang"-compilation they did "Bäh!!!" as their first album and split up some months after the LP-release. "Bäh!!!" is an absolutely typical album for Deutschpunk in this time, midtempo songs with great melodies and choruses and simple, short lyrics between politics, lifestlyle and daily boredom. Remastered from the original tapes, CD comes as a 6-page-digipack, LP with 350g cover, text inlay and downloadcode.

Recorded in Berlin in the icy grips of winter 2017, ORDEN MUNDIAL devastate the A-Side with a uniquely southern Spanish take on some classic American HC tropes like the buzzsaw sensibility of Boston Not LA era JERRY'S KIDS, part noisecore a la CONFUSE, all blended with a dirgey desperation that "Side B" era BLACK FLAG would leap upon with utter enthusiasm. MURO follow with an equally massive grip of songs in their uniquely "Muro" style. This is punk music only they could have made. Bursting with aggression and sadness, this is manic and dynamic hc at its best.
As wonderful as it is, this record is the last recorded output of ORDEN MUNDIAL. This project is in memory of the passing of Martí, bassist of ORDEN MUNDIAL, who outside of their duties in OM played bass in MURO on their tour of Europe, and on one of the MURO tracks on this record. Singapore's SIAL return with another wave of destruction and their 3rd release on LVEUM. They've truly found the perfect balance of melody, noise and aggression while still putting great emphasis on the political aspect of hardcore punk that's always spitting hate towards the power that corrupts. The music and song writing can be somewhat ambiguous to some listeners who have devoted their life to the classic raw hardcore punk format, but this record shouldn't be left out- it carries the same cathartic punk experience. References point being THE COMES, LEBENDEN TOTEN or Perdition era DISORDER.
SIAL has always been using strong malay metaphors and proverbs in their lyrics, and more in this release to stress how important the Malay language is to them in expressing a structure that is broken in this modern capitalistic world. 'Tari Pemusnah Kuasa', which translates to 'The Revolt Dance' or ' Dance of The Power Crusher', delivers a sense of mysticism and empowerment. This uncompromising attitude is what we need in these trying times.

American anarcho punk of the 1980s was a rare and exotic thing – sometimes known about, but less often actually heard (except, of course, Crucifix and MDC, thanks to Crass). If UK anarcho was the underdog of the ’80s alternative music scene, then American anarcho was like the underdog’s underclass. Sealed Records have done an amazing job of picking an early hardcore /peace punk gem from the depths of that obscurity – the complete Iconcolast Discography, remastered, and including the 1983 Demo, The Flipside 7″ from 1985 plus two compilation tracks. A rip-roaring mix of proto hardcore (Minor Threat, Youth Brigade etc.) and the UK protest punk of Crass, Dirt and Conflict (and if that doesn’t wet your treasure-hunting appetitite then what are you even doing here? Scram, you! You’re just a voyeur, get out of here!). Comes with a thick booklet full of reproductions of flyers, interviews, and vintage zine reviews.
