BRAINSTORM "Only the dead see the end of war" (ltd. blue vinyl)

Limited edition of 300 copies on transparent blue vinyl with side-B silkscreened. Official reissue on vinyl of BRAINSTORM's debut demotape "Only the dead see the end of the war" (1989). Among the multitude of cult demos worshipped by the most dogged tape-traders back in the day, this little treasure from former Yugoslavia has always been a highlight here between the FOAD's ranks. Their style was perfectly settled in the growing Grind/Britcore extremity that was exploding those years thanks to early releases of labels like Earache, Peaceville and Manic Ears. BRAINSTORM was totally devoted to that formula, delivering a manic raw barrage of grinding HC with a massive dose of riff-oriented Thrashcore catchiness. It reminds of DOOM, UNSEEN TERROR, DEVIATED INSTINCT, HERESY, "Scum"-era NAPALM DEATH and other pioneers of that scene. This link was consolidated by the fact that the singer of the band lived in the UK for a long period those years, attending that scene and bands like DOOM. Besides their devastating musical approach BRAINSTORM were a strongly political band with lyrics that were all focused on their country's social background, anticipating with their anti-war message the inner conflict that dismembered Yugoslavia in the years that followed. Mastered from the original reels at Toxic Basement studio with meticulous care for the best possible sonic result, "Only the dead see the end of the war" comes back to life in its most dynamic and powerful version ever. Also including 2 inserts with lyrics, photos, rare flyers and a lot more.

NEUROOT - "OBUY AND DIE" New LP In stock soon

NEUROOT - "OBUY AND DIE" New LP
NEUROOT is a very well-known Hardcore, Punk band from the Netherlands that was active in the years 1981 - 1987. They got really famous because of their fast and relentless sound, pissed off Eighties Hardcore, Punk for the nerds and Noise freaks. Their first tape "Macht Kaput Was Euch Kaput Macht" (1983), the "Right Is Might" EP (1986) and the "Plead Insanity" LP (1988) are called classic now and should not miss in a well sorted Punk collection. This was the past but now we live in the present and NEUROOT are back. In 2018 the band releases their new album "Obuy And Die", seven songs where recorded in november 2017 at the Rocketdog Studios in Westervoort, The Netherlands to pressed on a Black piece of vinyl. Yes of course the wild youth of the band is gone but that doesnt mean you have to expect modern Sell-Out Punk Rock. The new NEUROOT material might be a little bit slower, more melodic as many of you might expect, but believe me you will get a full dose of political Punk, Hardcore with some hints of Metal. The band members might have aged a little bit, but they still know how to deliver a great Punk album.
Great new album of this dutch Hardcore, Punk legend, 500 copies on Black vinyl pressed in co-operation with the band, this LP comes in a nice full coloured pocket cover and with extra info / lyric sheet.

RAPT “Thrash war – discography 1984-1987” LP+7″+CD (F.O.A.D. 139)

RAPT “Thrash war – discography 1984-1987” LP+7″+CD  (F.O.A.D. 139)
“Noise with distortion – it’s the Thrash core. Musical destruction, now another war… it’s an expression. Here’s the Thrash War!” these are the lyrics of the title track, to give you a picture of the sonic hecatomb that these French maniacs were spawning. Out of tune guitars, manic fast drumming and rabid vocals… logos of LÄRM, KAAOS, HEADCLEANERS, EU’S ARSE on their jackets. Add that their only 7″ got originally released on “Caos Produzioni” by the singer of WRETCHED… you can easily guess how they were sounding. RAPT were certainly not the earliest Hardcore band in the 80s’ French scene but certainly one of the fastest and noisiest. This total discography set authorized by the band’s bass player and screamer Olivier collects their Split 7″ with Final Blast, all their demos (also including the 3rd one recorded in NYC with a different line-up) and a very detailed selection of rare recordings, most of which have never been released to date.
Each session has been transferred from the mastertapes provided by the band and accurately mastered for vinyl, you have never heard RAPT sounding so powerful and clear as on this ultimate release. Housed in a gatefold sleeve with a fanzine styled booklet full of photos, flyers, zine excerpts and original artworks. The extra 7″ has the NYC demo 1987 while the bonus CD has all what you’ll find on the LP and 7″ + some bonus live and rehearsals.

EXTINCTION OF MANKIND Storm Of Resentment (LP) Re-stocks

EXTINCTION OF MANKIND
Storm Of Resentment (LP)
AG114
EXTINCTION OF MANKIND have been around since 1992, so they are veterans of the UK punk. They started when others finished and when time passed (20 something years) and I get the chance to hear their fourth upcoming full length album, I realise they are one of the very few who are true to what UK punk has always been about. They are the natural continuator of the UK anarcho crust punk movement started in the late 80s by the likes of ANTI SECT, AMEBIX or AXEGRINDER.
“Storm of Resentment” is the concentrate of the UK anarcho punk. Take what is best from it (the lyrics, the statements, the sound, the tempo, the anger and dedication) and add thrashy guitars to top it all. EOM prove you don’t need to play very fast to be brutal. “Cash Cow” intro leads you slowly into the record with its instrumental 2-minute piece. And then it all starts. Lengthy punk songs with metal influence and apocaliptic atmosphere. “Turn a Blind Eye” has very good female vocals and “Believers of Their Lies”, the 6-minute suite, contains a tirade of spoken words and sampes to complete this anarcho punk feel of this masterpiece.
vinyl all packed up in a typical Crass style poster/sleeve to keep the 80'es feeling stronger than ever.
